About us
It all began with a simple idea fueled by a deep passion. As a small business, we pride ourselves on personal attention and dedication to every detail. Tracy has an honours degree in Design, and has 30+ years of sewing experience, making many different items including handbags (sold all over the world), baby clothes, adult clothing, and even her daughters prom and wedding dress! She also is a trained jeweller, who had her own hallmark for many years, so making resin jewellery goes back to her roots!
How it all started
"It all began in 2014 when my very good friend lost her daughter, Bethany. I promised her, I would make her a quilt with Bethany’s clothes, but I ended up making two quilts, three cushions, a dog, two handbags and later, a moose! The Tilted Quilt was born!
Over the last 11 years I’ve made bears, dogs, cats, owls, rabbits, elephants etc. as well as flowers, cushions, hanging hearts, Christmas trees and Angels.
I feel so humbled to make something precious, for people who are suffering with grief and know that when they receive their memory gift, it brings them comfort.
Having suffered loss myself, I can empathise with each and every one of my customers, and if I can help them on their grief journey to ease their pain, I will.
When my customers return for more items or simply recommend me to others, it makes me so grateful that my skills, my attention to detail, and the fact I put my heart and soul into every gift I make, all worthwhile!”
